Digital HR platforms
Digital HR platforms are designed to automate and simplify processes related to HR management. The most popular include LinkedIn (the largest professional social network connecting employers and employees), Headhunter, Workday, YouGile, and many others.
Although platforms significantly speed up the search for new employees and simplify personnel management, they have a number of shortcomings and problems. The most pressing of these are data privacy and security, as well as the proliferation of scammers.
Platforms collect significant amounts of data under the guise of providing high-quality and comprehensive resumes, making them frequently vulnerable to hacks and data leaks. Digital platforms also lack the ability to strictly control the distribution of fraudulent ads: many citizens encounter fake employers, which can lead to unpaid work, document issues, and other traps.
